Dr. William H. McHorris, B.S., D.D.S., F.A.C.D., F.I.C.D.

Dr. William H. McHorris graduated first in his class from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1964, receiving the International College of Dentistry award for top scholastic achievement.  He has served as President of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and President of the International Academy of Gnathology. Dr. McHorris maintains a very successful practice in Memphis, Tennessee, where he devotes a great deal of his time to teaching and dental research as well as his clinical specialties of Occlusion and the TMJ. He has published numerous industry articles dealing with anterior teeth relationship and anterior guidance, and has directed over 60 study clubs in the United States, Australia, South America, Japan, and Europe.  He is one of the most renowned and respected lecturers on occlusion and the TMJ, with a highly regarded series appropriately named “Stuff That Works,” and his expertise has given him worldwide respect by his colleagues in Dentistry.
